24/10/06 - VientianeTimes - Power stations surge forward, More than 1,000 Megawatts of power will surge into the Lao electricity grid with the expected construction of three Russian hydropower stations next year. The company in charge of the projects announced yesterday at a press conference held at the Russian Embassy in Vientiane that following a feasibility study, the construction of three of the stations would go ahead.
